Coaching A license

Once you graduate the IAF program you still have to work on few steps to get your A license.

Jump number nine must be a solo skydive where you will be doing a simple jump from full altitude with no instructor. After this jump you can continue to practice during solo jumps to refine the maneuvers your learned in the IAF program. You may also sign up for coached jumps. There are minimum tasks you must perform in order to get signed off on you’re a license card. These tasks can be performed in a minimum of four coach jumps. Also, for the A license card you need to perform a jump from a lower altitude (3.500 – 5.000 ft) where you simulate an emergency exit. This jump can be made any time after jump nine.

Hop & pop 3.500 – 5.000 ft

- Solo exit and pull 3 – 5 seconds after exit. Simulate emergency exit.
